Horseback Trips

Experience the Colorado Wilderness on horseback. Local outfitters will lead participants on a four-hour horseback ride through the Flat Tops Wilderness Area. No experience necessary; trusted and experienced horses are available. Participants should wear long-pants and hard-soled shoes with a closed-toe and closed-heel. Riding helmets are recommended but will not be provided by the outfitters. Bicycle, snow-sport (skiing or snowboard), and other hard shell helmets are acceptable. Participants are responsible for bringing a backpack with lunch, water, and snacks. ERBM Recreation & Park transportation will be provided.
