Bowhunter Education

This course will benefit all bowhunters and will instill a responsible attitude, teaching participants to adopt and follow acceptable behavior toward people, wildlife, and the environment in which they hunt.

At the completion of this course, participants will receive a green Bowhunter Education card that is accepted anywhere in the world. THIS IS FOR ARCHERY ONLY. Bowhunter Education is considered an advanced Hunter Education Course in Colorado; it is not a mandatory class to purchase an archery license. There is a written test, consisting of multiple choice and true/false questions. Participants must attend all portions of the course in order to receive a card.

It is recommended that each participant provide their own equipment. The class will shoot three (3) broadheads and three (3) field points. There is no shooting accuracy test.

Weather may be a factor during the field day portion of the course; please dress appropriately.
