The Heritage Culture Center Committee is organizing a come back event in the same spirit, as a fundraiser for the Old West Heritage Culture Center and the local FFA. With headliners: Fred Ellis, Caitlyn Taussig and Vic Anderson, it promises to be a wonderful out-west-family-gathering celebrating our heritage roots and entertaining us with loads of other talent including Dan McQueen – upcoming Cowboy Poet from Rifle, our main band Rapidgrass plays Sons of the Pioneers, who specialize in cowboy/trail songs and some Texas style fiddlin’, Casserole Beans (listen for a taste of music) bluegrass genre,Kylen and Abbie Seely a favorite western entertaining duo from Utah and our emcee for the evening, and even a Youth Talent

Now featuring a 5K, 10K, and 1/2 Marathon for all ages!

Join us for these new races that incorporate trail and road running with a finish at the popular Meekerpalooza Arts & Music Festival!  Participants will receive a swag bag and free admission into the festival.  Race starts at Paintbrush Park and incorporates the Phillip & Dorcas Jensen Memorial Park Trail System.
A shuttle will be available at set times for participants to return to the Meeker Recreation Center.  

Male and Female Divisions for all ages | 12 & Under, 13-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60+
Bib number and swag bag must be picked up 15 minutes prior to race start time at Paintbrush Park sled hill area.

The Second Annual Metal Art Competition is open to ametuers and professionals who want to explore the creative medium of metal. Finalists will be displayed at Meekerpalooza, with the top three art sculptures displayed year round at Meeker's signature Town Park. This years theme is Outdoor Recreation. Capturing Our Culture – for people who want to share oral histories on video –
individually, as a family, as a class, or other group. Please contact
president@rioblancocounty.org for advance scheduling; otherwise, it will be done on a casual basis. Having a few people in a group is ideal for “jogging memories.”

Social Hour begins at 5:00 in the lobby

The Lion’s Club will have a cash bar in the lobby

Dinner will be served at 6:30 – dancing will start after dinner.
